I fetched my email this morning, and found the following dispatch from Buzz Kilman:

Congratulations! Once again you have been selected to receive this mass, automated email promoting Buzz Kilman and The Blues Rocket Scientists tonight at Bill’s Blues at 1029 Davis, Evanston. First set starts at 8:30PM. A special midnight set features Stuart Rosenberg and The Long Necks.
Unfortunately, Buzz is currently unemployed and was unable to promote this outstanding musical event but for you that means good seating is almost assured.
As you may have read, current events are conspiring to bring the full sting back to the American music form that celebrates life’s pain and suffering. A rocking, raucous defiance in the face of hard times might be just what the doctor ordered.
