There was an inspiring story from our area on NPR’s All Things Considered this afternoon. “Wisconsin Car Dealership Hiring Despite Times,” reported by Erin Toner of Milwaukee’s WUWM, featured the Russ Darrow Group, Wisconsin auto dealers with 15 locations.

In stark contrast to a lot of the news we’re hearing these days, the people at Russ Darrow are thinking very positively about car sales in the near future — so positively that they have been looking to hire 55 more people through a job fair they held yesterday and today in Waukesha. According to a Milwaukee Business Journal story from Friday, the company “is seeking employees in sales, maintenance and repair and administration and hopes to fill the positions by March 1.”
